Our Practitioners
Rosemary Rast, L.Ac.
As an acupuncturist, Rosemary is dedicated to providing compassionate and affordable healthcare to her community. After finding life-changing solutions to health struggles for which she had long been seeking answers, she fell in love with acupuncture for its ability to help everyone by providing powerful, practical, hands-on healing solutions to all people with all health conditions. With a background in psychology and elder care, and a lifelong dream to become a healthcare practitioner, acupuncture was the career she had always been searching for but didn’t know existed. It provided a link between physical and mental health and began to answer some of the more profound questions about what it means to be healthy and heal.
Rosemary has worked in healthcare for over 10 years, first as a nursing assistant and caregiver in the fields of elder care, mental health caregiving, Alzheimer’s disease & dementia support, and end-of-life care, and now as an acupuncturist. She loves treating everyone for everything, and but her background and experience lend particular expertise to the treatment of mental health & trauma, women’s health, insomnia, digestive disorders, chronic pain & illness and elder & end-of-life care.
Rosemary holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO, where she completed advanced internships in Kototama Inochi Medicine, Five Element Acupuncture, Treating Insomnia & Sleep Disorders with Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, Tan Balance Method for acute & chronic pain, channel systems treatment for mental health disorders & complex conditions, Sports Medicine, and advanced acupuncture treatment solutions. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of CO, and is Board Certified by the NCCAOM. She holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and is an active member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado and Acupuncturists without Borders.
As an ongoing student & practitioner of Kototama Inochi Medicine, Rosemary is grateful to follow a lineage of powerful healers in this uniquely powerful form of the medicine.
